I once heard a renowned Pittsburgh artist, Thad Mosley, say “what you do in childhood will stay with you.” For the first ten years of my life, my family moved around Pennsylvania and there would always be a forest nearby. As a lonely child, the trees and the streams became my playground, my happy place.
Now an artist, I am still drawn to the trees, lakes, trails, and flowers that continue to inspire my life and my work. I create oil and acrylic paintings that are rich with color, light, and energy to preserve the feeling – or the spirit – of a particular place and moment in time.
